Action for Children in Crisis International (ACCI) is a non-governmental organization focused on child development and youth empowerment in Liberia.
ACCI ORGANIZATION is committed to developing and implementing policies so that everyone in the organization accepts their respective roles and responsibilities to safeguard children from potential harm and abuse. This means to follow prescribed procedures to protect children and report any concerns about their welfare
Everyone who works for ACTION FOR CHILDREN IN CRISIS INTERNATIONAL (ACCI) is entitled to do so in an enjoyable and safe environment. The organization is under moral and legal obligation to ensure that, when given a responsibility for children of all categories: care givers, teachers, coaches, mentors and workers must provide children with the highest possible standard of care to ensure their wellbeing and protection.
Our Latest Works
Action for Children in Crisis International is a Christian-founded non-profit organization accredited by the Liberia Ministry of Finance, Development Planning and Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection as a non-governmental child rights and development organization. ACCI’s efforts are led by a former street child who survived the Liberian civil wars by God’s grace.
ACCI’s main purpose is to minister the Gospel of Jesus Christ to Orphans and Street Children’s, by providing them with permanent, parent-led homes situated in a dedicated village where they will receive love, godly instructions, and care.
The goal of these homes is to provide each child with a stable and closely-knit family unit that is built on Biblical foundations.
The Greater Joy Children Village project is ongoing and ACCI encourage partners, friends of the ACCI founder and people of Goodwill to donate to this project..

Project Proposal: Greater Joy Children Village*
Location: Gbarnga, Bong County, Liberia
Project Overview:
The Greater Joy Children Village project aims to establish a safe and nurturing environment for vulnerable children in Gbarnga, Bong County, Liberia. The village will provide a comprehensive range of facilities, including housing units, a school, a clinic, a church, and a children’s playground. This project will offer a holistic approach to supporting the physical, emotional, and educational needs of children.
Project Components:
- Housing Units: 20 units will be constructed to provide shelter for children and caregivers.
- School: A modern school facility will be built to provide quality education to children.
- Clinic: A well-equipped clinic will be established to provide medical care and health services to children and the community.
- Church: A place of worship will be constructed to provide spiritual guidance and support.
- Children’s Playground: A safe and fun playground will be built to promote physical activity and recreation.
